TRAINING CURRICULUM DEVELOPER
The overall goal of the JTCOIC is to provide CIED subject matter expertise and training to military service members prior to deployment to hostile areas of operation. By focusing on efficient and effective utilization of the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC), the JTCOIC trains military warfighting forces on how to access and use joint, national and interagency intelligence in order to prepare for the latest CIED and emerging asymmetric threats. This is accomplished through a variety of venues, to include coordinating with the training centers to provide realistic enemy and environmental signatures into models and simulations in support of realistic intelligence collection and analysis. The Marine Team of the JTCOIC directly supports Training and Education Command (TECOM) in the training of Marines on these topics.
Basic Functions: The curriculum developer will assist in the planning for, and execution of, training plans to support identified Marine Corps requirements to institutionalize training and education on COIC Net-centric capabilities throughout the TECOM enterprise.
Main Duties:
Designs course material and curricula to enable the training and education of Marines.
1. Develops Programs of Instruction (POI), to include Enabling Learning Objectives (ELO) and Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO).
2. Creates testing material and assessment criteria.
3. Maintains close coordination with Attack the Network (AtN) trainers, Tools Trainers and Analysts in order to incorporate emerging techniques into curricula.
4. Works closely with instructor cadres to facilitate efficient delivery of required subject matter.Desired Background:

Basic Functions: Trains members of tactical level war fighting staffs prior to deployment on the COIC's reach-back capability processes, computer-based applications. Competently presents briefings, demonstrations of computer-based COIC applications, and hands-on training at designated home station training centers.
Main Duties:
1. Attain in-depth understanding of how U.S. forces conduct irregular warfare, how IED threat networks operate and how the COIC functions to counter IED networks and other asymmetric threats.
2. Train Marines during pre-deployment training on the Counter Improvised Explosive Device Operations Integration Centers (COIC's) reach-back capability processes, computer-based applications, and Attack the Network methodologies.
3. Present briefings, demonstrations of computer-based COIC applications, and hands-on training, primarily at home station, the Service Training Centers, and Joint MRXs.

Positions are located in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and at Newport News, VA
Basic Functions: Provides Multi-Discipline Intelligence/General Military Intelligence/All-Source Intelligence Analysis of IED Networks and other asymmetric threats, as well as analyzes requests for information and requests for support to identify specified/implied tasks. Possess in-depth understanding of service Intelligence processes, procedures and capabilities as well as how IED/Asymmetric networks operate and how the COIC functions to assist in countering IED networks and other asymmetric threats.
The Marine Training Section provides training and reach-back services to deploying operational level units on the COICs reach-back capability processes, web-based tools, and Attack the Network (AtN) methodologies so that, upon arrival in theater, units can fully exploit the reach-back capability of the COIC portal, web-based tools and fully utilize COIC analysts ability to provide fused intelligence products to fill intelligence gaps. The incumbent must possess in-depth understanding of Service processes, procedures and capabilities as well as how IED/Asymmetric networks operate and how the COIC functions to counter IED networks and other asymmetric threats. Responsible for providing Multi-Discipline Intelligence/General Military Intelligence/All-Source Intelligence Analysis of IED Networks/other asymmetric threats as well as analyzing requests for information and requests for support to identify specified/implied tasks. The incumbent is also tasked with providing instruction, exercise and home station training support to Marine Corps units.
