The sub-menu (to the left) Benefits Handbook will take you to a handbook designed to help Service members who are wounded, ill and injured, as well as the family members who are taking care of them, navigate through the military and veteran disability, evaluation, compensation, and benefits programs that are designed to help them.

The sub-menu (to the left) Benefits Web Sites lists web sites with information about available benefits.  There is a lot of good information available at these web sites.

 The sub-menu (to the left)  Education Benefits will take you to information about available educational benefits.

The sub-menu (to the left) Federal Benefits will take you to information about Federal Benefits, including Social Security.

There is a sub-sub-menu Claims Assistance under the Federal Benefits sub-menu that will take you to information about processing claims. 

There is a sub-sub-menu CRSC under the Federal Benefits sub-menu that will take you to an article about Combat-Related Special Compensation (CRSC).

There is a sub-sub-menu Handbook under the Federal Benefits sub-menu that will take you to the new Federal Benefits for Veterans Handbook 2008.  This 153 page handbook contains a lot of good useful information. 

There is a sub-sub-menu VA SMC under the Federal Benefits sub-menu that will take you to a 42 page document about the VA Special Monthly Compensation (SMC) for Serious Disabilities.

The sub-menu (to the left) Medical Benefits will take you to information about available medical benefits.

The sub-menu (to the left) National Resource Directory is a Web site for wounded, ill and injured Service Members, Veterans, their families and those who support them.  It provides access to services and resources at the national, state and local levels to support recovery, rehabilitation and community reintegration. Visitors can find information on a variety of topics including benefits & compensation, education & training, employment, family & caregiver support, health, homeless assistance, housing, transportation & travel and other services & resources. For help on how to find resources on the site, visit the How to Use this Site section of the National Resource Directory.

Click here to view a Power Point presentation of Veterans Benefits by State prepared August 2007 by the Department of Veterans Affairs.  On the map you should click on the state you are interested in to view the benefits provided by that state.
