American Council on Education (ACE) – Military Programs Division

Heather Bernard of the American Council on Education (ACE) can provide educational counseling to WWs to include GED, vocational training, a college or community college degree and graduate school.  She can provide guidance  through the school search and application process for: (1) Essay writing oversight, (2) SAT, ACT, GMAT, LSAT, TOEFL registration, advice and tutoring, (3) Online submission of application materials, (4) Direct introductions to advisors at any college or vocational program or interest, (5) Help finding online and distance learning programs for WWs with particular concern that credits completed while at WRMAC will be accepted for transfer.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

University of Idaho – Operation Education Scholarships

The University of Idaho has launched the Operation Education Scholarship Program designed to help veterans severely and permanently wounded as a result of service since September 11, 2001.  The spouses of wounded veterans are also eligible for the scholarships.  It is the first such program in the nation.
