Have You Ever Dreamed of Startiing a Busiiness?

The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) is an educational program providing world-class training in entrepreneurship and small business management, to post-9/11 veterans with a service-connected disability. The EBV is a program specifically for veterans, and is designed to develop your competencies in the many steps and activities associated with creating and sustaining an entrepreneurial venture. The EBV program is offered by six world-class business schools across the U.S., including Texas A&M University, Florida State University, Purdue University, University of California Los Angeles, the University of Connecticut, and Syracuse University. The EBV represents an opportunity for those who have sacrificed for our freedom, to take an important step toward realizing their own economic freedom in the most American way possible - through entrepreneurship.

Eligibility:

EBV applications will be accepted from veterans (active, guard, or reserves) who have served on active duty since 2001, and who have a ‘service-connected disability’ (as designated by the VA or DoD).

Costs and Logistics:

This program is entirely without any cost to the veteran. As a result of the generous support of the EBV Universities and the private giving of individuals and corporations, we are able to cover all costs (including travel, lodging, and meals) for delegates accepted to the EBV.

Program Schedule:

The 2010 EBV programs will occur between May and September (specific dates vary by University). You will be assigned to an EBV campus following your admission to the program.

Application Procedures:

Successful candidates for admission will demonstrate a strong interest in entrepreneurship, high motivation for owning and managing a business, and a high likelihood of successful completion of this intense training program.
