COMPANY WILL TRAIN RIGHT PERSON WITH A GOOD WHEELED VEHICLE MAINTENANCE BACKGROUND!

 

POSITION SUMMARY: Entry Level Maintenance Manager/ILS Lead

Develop and/or supervise Defense Vehicle Variants logistic support subcontractor development of all ILS contract deliverables for: provisioning, IETMs, associated support documentation, ILS plans, computer programs, and spare parts listings. Position is located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

  

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1. Manage in-house and offsite subcontractor technical writing teams. Assist ILS Manager with project mandates include customer satisfaction, cost control, maintaining delivery schedules, MIL spec formant and content, configuration control and quality control.

 

2. Learn to interpret US military specifications, ILS contract language requirements and associated computer programs.

 

3. Learn to develop and update ISPs and supervise and coordinate the development of technical manuals/IETMs.

 

4. Work with the R&M Manager, Training Manager, LSA Manager and the LCC Manager.

 

5. Assist PM with ILS development efforts once contracts are awarded.

 

6. Work with Contracting Officer to understand and implement all contract variations to the basic provisioning, spare parts and parts catalog specifications and associated computer programs.

 

7. Learn to coordinate Logistics Program development and develop new ILS contract proposal requirements for any new vehicle systems and/or variants to include quotations, ECP analysis and presentations.

 

8. Work with Procurement Officer to obtain a complex set of source materials required for the development of all ILS deliverables from all vendors, OTC engineering and OTC purchasing to include supplier cost information.

 

9. Learn to computer load/process all materials developed; maintain OTC based ILS computer programs and meeting with the customer to resolve problems. Analyze and resolve problems reported to ILS via verbal or written communication, i.e. date problem reports, engineering technical reports, and change requests.

 

10. Review data against repair and overhaul manuals, drawing packages and hardware to assure consistency of all ILS contract deliverables.

 

11. Help to identify and cost ILS impact for all changes affecting provisioning, computer program outputs, IETMs, & any Contract Logistics Support (CLS) functions and/or spare parts listings.

 

12. Be the Company representative when ILS Manager is unavailable to meet with the customer during the development, as well as the presentation of all contract deliverables.

 

14. Work with PM to interface with company, vendor, subcontractors, and customer supervisory and staff personnel.

 

15. Some travel required. 
BASIC EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 3 years related experience.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

Good written and oral communications skills.

 

Salary is based on experience and background in the range of $60-62K. Total compensation includes an excellent benefits package. Relocation assistance is available.
